Easy Vanilla Bean Ice cream with Peach Melba (video)
Today's post is dedicated to all those of us who love to make something easy yet impressive. This Vanilla bean Ice cream is soooo good, sooo easy to make; no eggs, no stirring, no ice cream machine needed...its the No no no Ice cream...hehehe...
No, again, seriously, this is lovely, your whole family will love it and you can serve it with any sauce you want, I served it with Peach Melba...sooo good over ice cream and any cake if you like
I didn't take pics of the dish...I don't know why ...but I do think that my family who was literally running around me waiting for me to finish filming this just wanted a piece...and it vanished...so I hope the video will give you an idea how it looked like..What I loved the most is the little black dots of vanilla in that lovely white ice cream
Easy Vanilla Bean Ice cream
Ingredients:
1 can condensed milk
1 vanilla bean, sliced and vanilla beans scraped out (keep the bean for the peach melba)
2 cups whipping cream, whipped
Directions:
Mix vanilla with the condensed milk.
Fold into the whipped cream.
Put in a container (I put it in a mold)
Cover and freeze for 4 hours or so till solid.
That's it people...and the taste is phenomenal...
Peach Melba
Ingredients:
4 large peaches
1 1/3 cup sugar
2 1/3 cup water
1 split vanilla bean (I used the leftover one from the icecream)
1 piece of lemon zest
Directions:
Mix sugar, water, vanilla bean , lemon zest in a pot over high heat. Once it comes to a boil add the peaches and let them simmer over medium heat for 7 minutes or so. Take off heat and remove the peaches out of cooking liquid. Peel and return the peel to the poaching liquid. Cook and simmer for 15 minutes so it will give some color to the syrup and thicken a bit.
Cut peaches into slices and serve with Ice cream.

طبق اليوم سهل سهل سهل وزاكي زاكي زاكي...ما بقدر اقول كمان...بوظة فانيلا سهلة..لا بدها الة بوظة ولا فيها بيض ولا بدها تحريك كل شوي...وبتنعمل بدقائق....الزكاوة صراحة انكم تستعملو عود الفانيلا (بتلاقوها بسوبرماركتات كبيرة مثل مايلز وكوزمو) مش رخيصة بس بتستاهل الطعم رائع...المهم اذا ما انوجدت حطوا معلقتين فانيلا بيمشي الحال. زمعها قدمت صوص ميلبا الدراق اللذيذ وهي فرصة للاستفادة من الدراق غير الطعم اللطيف وممكن تستعملوها كصوص بحشي الكيك كمان.
للاسف ما صح الي اصورها صور بس لاني كنت بعمل الفيديو والعيلة الكريمة فوق راسي ما صدقوا اخلص وهجوم...صحتين
بوظة الفانيلا السهلة
المقادير:
علبة حليب مركز محلي
عود فانيلا مقسوم من النص ومستخرج الجزء الداخلي منه (احتفظوا بالعود لصوص الدراق)
2 كوب كريما خفق مخفوقة
الطريقة:
تخلط الفانيلا مع الحليب
تضاف بخفة للكريما بملعقة مطاطية
توضع في وعاء او قالب وتغلق وتفرز 4 ساعات وتقدم
صوص ميلبا الدراق
المقادير:
4 دراق كبير
1/3 1 كوب سكر
قشرة ليمونة
1/3 2 كوب ماء
عود فانيلا مقسوم من النصف
الطريقة:
يوضع السكر والماء والفانيلا وقشر الليمون في قدر علة النار وعندما يغاي تسقط حبات الدراق وتغلى على نار متوسطة مدة 7 دقائق ثم ترف وتترك لتبرد قليلا وتقشر ويرجع القشر لصوص السكر وتغلى معا على نار متوسطة 15 دقيقة لتعطي جزءا من اللون الاحمر للصوص وتصفى
تقطع حبات الدراق الى شرائح وتستعمل مع الصوص
